Full leather interior - after market fit |
|
I knew Exmoor Trim were working on an aftermarket trim set for Discovery 3.
Looked at their site last night and they are now offering it for sale.
http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/erol.html#1820...co.uk%252F
Looks great - full 5 or 7 seat trim option, including door panels.
The only problem might be the price - £2450 fitted for a 7 seat one (£1,293 for a diy fit). They don't recommend a diy fit, unsurprisingly. It's not like sliding on a cover to a Defender seat base!
They also seem to do heated seats and lumbar support as well.
I guess this is good for those of us only able to stretch to the base model, where leather is not a factory option. If it were not for the price, I'd love to do this to my D3- the light coloured interior seems to pick up marks from the children very easily.
Disclaimer- Exmoor trim are nothing to do with me. Don't come running to me crying if you try this and don't like it... Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles

I think BN is having it done if they get his car on the road. I saw a D3 that had been kitted out with the blue leather and cream piping like in the RR looked stunning. It was on an HSE so they had already paid for one lot of leather DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Yes, my car was planned to go down there this week for the seats. Mention my name and ask for Julian the MD, then you may get a favourable price. Too new at the moment to say if we definately can.

I know that you had been looking at this with them.
It's certainly very tempting!
I do hope that your (t)rusty steed will return from the mother ship soon [yes, I know; mixing my metaphors liberally] and you can be the guinea pig for all of us. Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

Wonder what happened to the original covers? It's not like the HSE version is rubbish.
I'd be interested in the Exmoor conversion, as I'd have paid extra for it as a FF option, but not the S > SE uplift. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I think you will find the Exmoor trim is softer leather and better tanned. It is also hand sewn.

Sorry I don't know, it is owned by Lintran a company who make dog cages. I have to say it looked stunning. The job was done by a Jaguar trimmer and I believe was a bout £2k but don't quote me. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

What- the fitting price, or the whole price incl leather?
The exmoor trim people are charging approx £1,200 for the bits and another £1,200 to fit.
Out of my league, more's the pity. Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

Have you spoken to the right person or did you just call?
