Just spoke to my local LR parts dept, apparently this set is from a left hand drive disco, (he doesn't mention that bit)
part no XBCOO1131. Welcome to the Global Warming Corner.

Yes apparently the nearside light on a right hand drive car shines into the curb, and the driver's side points straight ahead, so on the left hand drive set the drivers side light will be shinning into oncoming traffic, you could put on european light deflectors but this will affect the the performance, plus the now nearside light instead of shinning into the curb will be pointing straight forward.
Plus I wouldn't trust this person as he has said they are from a right hand drive car, other people from this site have had problems with him and xenons.
Regards
Dave. Welcome to the Global Warming Corner.

I thought xenons could be changed for left or right by switching a little lever on the back, so in theroy them being left hook lights shouldnt matter should it

Oh, I'm not sure then, I'm just speeling off what the LR dealer told me, but hey he also told me that my rear parking sensors didn't work because they had mud on them!! never mind he can clean them on Friday when it's back in for the 4th time for this fault.
Ps I feel sick now because I really wanted a pair of Xenons! Welcome to the Global Warming Corner.
