23,000 miles on my '08 so far, and the rear tires are showing seriously uneven wear.
Basically the outer shoulders on each side are wearing slick, reasonable tread on the rest of the tyre (Original Goodyear HP)
Had alignment done at 9,000 miles so we're 14,000 on from there. Been noisy as hell for ages!
Am I being a fussy git (possible), or do I have a genuine beef with the dealers?
Dealer says 23,000 on HPs is good, he may be right - anyone?
Either way, I'm now going to have to have a new set of rubber - probably some round quiet ones me thinks!
Dealer says alignment still on spec FWIW

Its usually the inside of the tyre that wears first, especially if 'bush settle' has occured.

Mmmmm, I wonder if they over compensated for said settle when they did the alignment last time.
Little offered me a 'discounted' price on two new HPs, which was not much cheaper than the 4 new tires I'm eyeing up to replace the world's noisiest set I have now!
Maybe try a different stealership before I do too many miles on the new rubber - get the alignment checked out.
Is alignment ever covered under warranty? (he asked hopefully) 08 LR3 SE V8 - 02 D2 SE7 V8

Not sure about USA. In UK it is usually covered if the vehicle has low mileage. But there is some inconsistency between dealers.
