Sadly live nowhere near our site sponsor but they have recommended someone local to me.
I have a 57 plate HSE with 255/55R19 tyres. Will need to be replaced shortly. Looking for a good hard wearing (who isn't) tyre. Do about 30k miles per annum and mostly motorway. Any particular ones I should look for?

For a decent road tyre doing heavy mileage, I'd go for the Wrangler.
Got around 33k out of mine....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Cooper HT+s will last a lot longer than any of them. Didn't even get 33,000 km out of my Wranglers. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

You could always try the MTR good for 40k I am told (only done 5k on mine.

Huge difference between your 33km and my 33k miles?
But reckon that's cause you must get the subtandard ones down under.
More likely our 350 days/yr of warm sunshine causes the bitumen on roads to evaporate, leaving a more sandpaper like surface on the road. This wears out the tyres more quickly but panic stops (think roos or camels on the road at night) are really quick. Our roads are cr@p and tyres always take a hiding, we have very coarse asphalt. A lot of Euro Tyres are very noisy hear. Maybe I drive like a nutter too.
Looking at Pirelli ATRs as off road tyres anyone know what they are like?“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

They have had some good reviews but I am concerned they may not wear as well as the GGs.

The 20" General Grabber UHP is an excellent tyre.
Been running these now for a good while [in 295/45/20]
Wear rate is far better than I would have expected.
Many that run 20" wheels, swear by them on this ste....... always on the road less travelled 🚧
