Ticking noise and EPB

Upon stopping the engine within seconds there is a ticking noise which sounds like a solenoid or a switch trying to work at the back of the FNS wheel, it clicks about 5 or 6 times then stops. It is definately electrical somewhere, has anyone had the same issue?
Also should it cost £90 + VAT to get the park brake to stop squeeling when i'm driving? thats what i was just quoted to get it cleaned, can it not just be adjusted as i had done before? '16 Volvo XC90 R Design Bursting Blue (Vera)

Ticking sound is normal Thumbs Up ...I would fight the charge for the EPB on the basis that you can give them details of dozens of people on here who have had it done under warranty. Why should you have to pay for a poorly executed design? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Its amazing what noises new noises you hear even after having the D3 a year!!! Shocked

That ticking noise could be the fuel burning heater shutting down. It whirs and ticks a bit.
