Can someone give me some help. I have a Discovery 3 that is displaying a message 'Special Programmes off' and a error code suggesting wiring fault.
I have checked all the wiring and connections which appear to Be ok except the connections appeared to be wet. I have dried them off but still no better. Is the transfer module likely to be faulty and would it give me any problems with the alternator charge lamp coming on?

The error you mention can be caused by low volts. If the alternator warning is on, it would suggest the alternator is failed. Have you checked the volts at the battery terminals with the engine running?

Hi Gareth
I have checked the voltage at the battery and the alternator is not charging so I will get a replacement and fit it and see wahrt the results show.
