Low Coolant Level
Took the car out for a short spin yesterday just to check I'd put the wheels on correctly. After 5 min drive & up to temp, did a pedal to the metal start from a side road (just to have that TorqTune smile) & headed home. Little while later noticed an "i" in the dash & dialed up the message, Low Coolant Level. Checked the level this morning and it is fine.
Thoughts anyone, could it have been my short blast pulling the coolant through quicker than normal or am I just being paranoid???

Looks like mine has the same issue, me thinks I need a new bottle them Still miss my D3
Derek - I can't remember if you are still in warranty on that one. If not, I can get a new header tank from Lakeland for about £15 and I'll fit it for you.
Did the same job on my your other D3 about 4 months ago. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I've found this problem on the 55 I've just bought at auction. Level looks fine but the 'Low coolant level' warning pops up every time you start.
Assuming I can get a new reservoir from the local dealer, is it a relatively easy DIY job to replace??
