Just got my baby back from nearly a week at the dealers. Was originally booked in for two days to sort out the horrendous roof rattle that appeared after the new sunroof was fitted, but 4 days before that the windscreen wiper motor sheared something in the snow and I had no choice but to take it in on a Friday night.
After a couple of days of no-progress due to no parts arriving (something to do with the bad weather - anyone notice anything ) I have my grin back; Windscreen wipers now wipe, but more importantly, it's third time lucky for the rattle! All gone, fixed! All under warranty!
Nice one guys, now if you could only try and make your service prices competitive (30K service is £520! ) I'd not have to drive to Reading or Yeovil to get my servicing done.
Big up to Sharon and Martin in the service dept for keeping me up to date on what was happening, and for providing a loan car even though they weren't releasing them to customers due to the bad weather. The £750 excess was a bit steep! Glad I didn't need it Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

My Lancaster Reading service was my first/15k one, so the prices will have changed and I won't mention here. I remember that I saved over £100 compared to Swindon though, and I received top service.
My visit to Yeovil saved me around £130 even after taking extra fuel usage into account... Dr. Ian Malcolm:

TH White is my local stealer, and I wouldn't touch em.
They have always been very expensive on everything to do with Land Rover. I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!
