my new half rack
Always fancied either an Expedition or Frontrunner roofrack.
But couldn't put up with the noise on my long motorway trips [and the heavy cost].
And to take it off each time I wanted to, would be too big a job.
So came up with this half rack that bolts on to my roofbars using 'U' clamps and finger nuts.
Only four fixing points which means I can take off or on as I wish.
Plus it's dead cheap!!
Not got around to wiring up the lamps yet.
I'm also going to floor it, poss with usable waffle boards, to take the wire basket effect away.

guys
Got it from B.O.A.B. and it's a RhinoRack.
Cost under £150 with fittings.
But lights & plaque supplied and fitted by self.

Was looking at the BOAB site but they don't list prices . It always puts me off when companys do that. Is here an on-line price list anywhere or do you have to call them?HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

I really like the look of that. What are the lights and where did you get them? Also can I ask the same question about your front spots? Mine has the wiring and internal switch but no spots. I think that Land Rover ones are about £300!D3 HSE MY05 Auto

MarkW - best bet is to give Tijay a call.
When I called for pricing he was so helpful, I ordered there and then.
Stu - Got both sets of lamps off of e-bay.
But, I doctored both sets up.
Roof lights [Bolt on Bits 01274 869955], I added LR logo.
Driving lights [Bearmach] had square grill, which i chopped and beefed up.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
