Why Break your Own Trim?

Why break your own trim when your local dealer can do it for you. Thats my experience anyhow. My D3 was in dealers where purchased a few months back to have a rattle investigated. Since then noticed centre trim was loose only to find some of the trim clips were missing. I don't go back to that dealership anymore so ordered them from Nick and sorted it out. When vacuuming D3 yesterday the trim panel in footwell above brake pedal popped out. I was amazed that they had snapped off the clip mount and had wedged it back in place with a piece of cardboard. I stuck it back with a sticky pad and have pm'd Nick to see can he order me a panel. What shoddy behaviour when dealing with a car that cost me €85k. So if any of the Irish members are shopping for a D3 in the south east, make sure to take the by-pass road in Waterford and steer clear of the place. To say that they are incompetant would be puting it mildly. Evil or Very Mad

Hi Discowex,
As I can't speak any foreign languages fluently, I wouldn't lower myself.
When I kicked up before, I was asked what did I expect as it was a 4x4 not a car and one should have a higher level of tolerance with a 4x4.

WTF

I'd have lost the plot if the took that attitude with my 4x4 car
especially if it was not a comm

my stealers service secetary once suggested; when I offered the opinion that their service charges were a Censored ing rip off @ €800 for an 'A' servivce; that if I wanted to drive a land rover then i should be able to afford it Shocked

Needless to say the air turned blue and the excrement hit the fan.

By all means call back and ensure they fix their own damage, why should you pay that kind of money for your car and then have it treat in such a shoddy manner Evil or Very Mad
Nine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.

Also appears 9/10 of stopping is stopping in time

Hi BB,
Wouldn't give them the soot at this stage.
I deal with Youngs in Kilkenny now and find them great.
I have a dog that could have ripped out the trim with less damage. Rolling with laughter
