Just to keep this seperate from CFB's post
Had D3 in for first service at Farnell's Guiseley today....effortless and kept fully informed. Great service from Claire, Darren and the team including a couple of minor warranty items (door seal and alignment) and full details re what they had done when I picked it up. Phone call when ready and they insisted on cleaning it. FL2 as loaner.
Oh forgot the price.......wont mention but certainly not complaining (and you can't get blood out of a Yorkshireman!)
Will be going back....hopefully not until 2nd service is due, so thanks guys... 
Also said they were busy......see comments in CFB's thread

I had my defender from Farnells and they were great picked me up from the hotel that i was staying in to pick up the car, called me two weeks later to ask how it was going, did n't buy the D3 from them because at the time they did n't have the right D3 in but would certainly buy from them again in the future.... and i think you get COOP divi  Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
