As the owner of a non xenon model I was thinking about upping the main beam bulbs to 80 or 100w. As the lamps are all plastic has anybody any ideas about increased heat build up melting something. It's a bit too dark around here with no street lamps.

I think it will be illegal to fit more powerful bulbs. Keep an eye on EBAY, plenty of Xenons on there recently. Xenons are a straight plug and go swap.
