New D4 Shots, I have sat in one in the factory

Went on a factory tour this morning and got to see the new D4. The nice men on the line allowed us to sit in a Rimini Red one and took our picture.

Must admit it feels a bit more basic than the older D3 and to keep with Land Rovers new eco friendly policy the vehicle is actually 0 wheel drive, however there are two rope attachment points at the front. I presume that this is some type of job creation scheme where people on the dole can gain joyful employment working in gangs of 6 pulling the new Discovery 4 around the countryside.

No not yet Chap. I am waiting to see what the 'puller' (new term used by LR to describe the gang of people that will pull the car) options are.

These are the first 6 'pullers' that we used on our drive around the factory. TBH it got a bit confusing as I struggled to keep my eyes on the road.

Nice to see the pullers are suitable for winter use, what with them being fitted with chains Rolling with laughter

Apart from the 'orgy girls' pic, I like the new body coloured single spar 'A' frame.

I see they've even gone and body coloured the headlights ....

It doesn't need headlights... the front 'puller' holds a wind-up torch between his/her teeth.
