In my X3 the BT connection between car and PTI was dropped as soon as the ignition was switched off (assuming a call was not in progress) and the same thing happens with the Parrot in my wifes car. In my Disco the connection seems to be kept live for a while. This is really annoying if I receive a call after locking the car the BT is still connected.
Is this a fault or a "feature" ?

Yup 'feature'
So if you receieve a call say when you're cleaning the car (or some other manly essential off road maintenance) and yoiu've recently unlocked the car or opened a door, you will be paired to the PTI, except not so great when yoiu answer & no-one can hear you and you can't hear anyone!
Frustrating sometimes, but then again useful when you stop & switch the engine off, that it deosn;'t just cut you off.

My X3 managed to keep the call up after stopping and turning off the engine. My wife was getting really pee'd off yesterday when I was loading the car with stuff for the dump and the PTI kept cutting in and tranferring her call to the car!
