Do you mean enable entry on the move? If so, yes, your dealer should be able to do it, will no doubt be chargeable thoughThe End

I had my dvd changed for a more recent version.
Litterally, the dealer said this one also has the 'advantage' of on the move entry.
So if you might consider this anyway you'll have it for free - no need to do anything.
DVD's for Europe are EUR 495,= here

The later disks allowed entry on the move ( from YIW500200 onwards) ..but it is still a update to activate it ...unless you have a car after 2007(08?) then it was standardG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Has been a while but...
I really had my disc changed around Christmas. Car went back to the dealer's in January and as I still have the speed lock, I asked them about this.
Dealer tells me this is not yet possible, it requires extra software which will be available end of this month and which will cost about €200!!!
@Pete you say you can already do this... Would you mind telling me if you use software, if I can point my dealer somewhere, is it a 'trade secret' for you? I'm not a DIY kinda guy but if possible FOC I would like to get the lock off

Hi
I have got the genuine main dealer diagnostic tool , there is a option in its menu to enable "nav on the move", As wiggs says its a update the dealer can do.
Shame your not near me id do it for you no problem.
Ill take some screen pics tomorrow.

Hi,
You've also 1791 code... But it's necessary to input this code each time you start the car !

I've used (actually a passenger has) the nav-on-the-move on mine 8) - it does seem a bit bonkers not being able to do it on earlier models Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

you should change dealer if he wants 200 EUR for the software and fix. As far as I know, the cars configuration file is altered to allow input on the move so that the new DVD can read this settings. As far as I understand we are not talking about "extra" software programmed into the car.
bellautos - what is the timeframe to apply the changes?

Any idea what SMS List stands for in picture 3
were the pictures taken with the dealers tool on the car or via the diagnostics (hidden button) menu. Since it has a white background, hidden button and code used on the main screen not inside the nav screen...
