Air bag warning light coming on is a known fault happend to mine. I would say it is just a coincidence it happened when changing pads. Mine was under warranty so dealer sorted the warning light out.

Been thinking about this - the only electrical orientated item disturbed while changing pads & wheels was front n/s brake pad sensor - could this have triggered a false fault to occur Confused

Inspection light also attached to battery whilst doing this also but.... it can't have can it???

Confused

i'd put it down to a low battery after doing the work and a communication error between the modules on start up, had the air bag light come on in mine due to a low battery,it was sorted by a reset by the local stealer.
