Picked up my new car today from Sturgess. Fantastic service from start to finish. I dealt with Michael, loads of phone calls over the last week. Nothing an issue and always friendly.
Flew down this morning and was met by one of their drivers, ferried over to the dealership, paperwork all done and ready to return up the road in less than 30minutes.
The car was fuelled up by them to get me home (>320miles), any other garage would have been fuelled to the nearest fuel station (ones I've dealt with anyway) and Michaels wife made me some stonking chicken sandwiches for the journey up the road.
I cannot recommend these chaps highly enough. I've bought a lot of cars over the years and this is by far the best service I have had.

Sturgess supplied mine 12 months ago. Not my local dealer but like you jkp I received superb service at a time where other LR dealers either couldn't be bothered to return my calls or the other extreme and pestered every five minutes with a deal "I couldn't refuse...just say yes now". The point of difference? Sturgess like many of the others getting good feedback on here are a (relatively) small private/family company who are closer to their customers (try to help/understand) as opposed to slick ( ) corporate national chains.
I for one would consider them again and I hope you enjoy your new Disco. ALTERNATIVES...............No alternatives for off-road capability.
If you want Surrey plush, go for a Range Rover. If you want Manchester bling it's the Range Rover Sport. But if it's a seven-seat, go anywhere 4x4, it's time to Disco.
