Hi Guys
Does anyone know if Penrite SIN ATF can be succesfully used in a D3 gearbox Have any problems being experienced using this oil
Any information would be greatly appreciated

Doc - no... one member here had his gearbox fail after its use and LR refused warranty.
Best to get it direct from ZF. (ZF Lifeguard 6). Try auto service shops that service late model Falcons and Territories - they have the same ZF gearbox.

Local dealer close to me has Ford, Land Rover and BMW all using the same transmission oil and when quizzing the guys there I found that the BMW oil is the cheapest as it can be bought in 20litre drums.

You can also get a 20L drum direct from ZF - which I bet will be cheaper than all the dealers.
