Hi Guys
Can anyone give me some feedback on Guy Salmon in Maidstone?
I think I have a problem with the fuel tank eating mouse that is targeting D3's. I also need a 75k service with disc's and pads alround.
I have been in touch with a recommended LR main agent in the West Country who booked me in for the service and brakes, but when I asked for a cost for fuel tank I got no reply - that was almost a month ago.
If they can't be bothered to give me a price then I may as well get the lot done locally. Women are like swimming pools, very expensive for the amount of time you spend in them!

Got my 05 HSE from them last summer, car has been back for one service and one warranty job, always collectedvand returned clean. Very impressed compared
to other premium dealers in the area. Have had five grand Cherokees, BMW and Audi and only audi come close for customer service. Ask for Phill Watson - sevice manager, always been a great help. ----------------------------

List price for a fuel tank is a few pence under £400, plus VAT; job logged as 2 hours.
If you do have the fuel tank replaced, a smear of copper grease around the nibbled pipe is recommended to deter repetition of the problem. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I bought mine from GS Maidstone, very pleasant experience
Aftersales has also been very good, Kim and Clair are very helpful. Only problem I have are their prices, 2nd service was quoted at £550, paid £320 elsewhere
Expect to pay £100+VAT per hour The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

They replaced the second clutch in mine three weeks after Barretts in Ashford replaced it for the first time. As far as I am concerned they did a very good job, very quickly especially considering it was Christmas time. The car was delivered back to me washed and cleaned and I live about 50 miles from the dealership. I dealt with sombody called Steve and could not fault them. i would go back there.
