New problem with D3 ......grrrrrrrrr! |

After three weeks of ownership I have now had :
Suspension fault (recovered by LRA)
Satnav wierd behaviour
Brakes binding (replaced under warranty)
Now, driving home from dealer after brakes being fitted I got "Engine System Fault" on the display and total loss of power.
As I was only 2 miles from dealer I went back and left engine running but even with this setup they could not find the fault on the stored codes. Now they "think" it could be a turbo fault and have ordered a replacement turbo ....another 2 days without the car.
Landrover Customer Care are aware of the problem (and this unsmiling punter) but I get the feeling I am stuck with this as it was an ex-demo .......but the shine really has been taken off my dream machine now! D3 05 SE (old one)

shouldn't make any difference unless it was a 'trade' sale, get your letter of intended rejection in soonish - if that's the route you want to take. Bear in mind that they are entitled to a fair crack at sorting it. Personally, as it is an ex-demo, i'd ask to see the vehicle workshop history and look for repetitive faults
