Lakeland
Packed the family, dog and Jetboil this morning and headed off to the Lakes for my second service.
Great service, no fuss, got on with the job - all done for a reasonable price.
Had a good day out in the loan car. It was good to meet a few of the faces (and Tilly the Patterdale terrier) from one of our sponsors. Thanks to you all for a job well done. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lakeland to anyone.
Also thanks to the site - I certainly wouldn't have considered travelling this far for a service without it, let alone Lakeland specifically. Wish they were my local dealer - see you for the next service, I hope.
Great dealer, great site ALTERNATIVES...............No alternatives for off-road capability.
If you want Surrey plush, go for a Range Rover. If you want Manchester bling it's the Range Rover Sport. But if it's a seven-seat, go anywhere 4x4, it's time to Disco.

Yep
Lakeland for me every time!
Bought the car off them and their service is exceptional. Always a new D3 or FL2 loaner. Good price too.
What really makes me go back though is when I had the dreaded EGR issue 2 weeks out of warrantly they fitted a new one next day (Bank Holiday Saturday) and all sorted through LR as no charge. I think it was the DP who did the work. How many other dealers have a fully qualified LR tech DP that can do that?

Found myself rather underwhelmed when I visited in the summer to look at swapping my almost 3 year old for something almost newish. May just have been the guy I got but he was aware we'd travelled a fair distance and didn't seem particularly knowledgable on their stock or different spec lists.
Swap from S spec 55 plate to S spec and newer. Wanted 13K to improve by 18 months, seemed rather steep.

As some of you may have read i had some concerns on reciept of my discovery 3 from lakeland last week, I'd like to thank the team particularly the DP in reacting to the issue and getting a satisfactory outcome within the first couple of hours this morning.
hopefully i can now settle back and enjoy the car over the future years ........

I'd like to add my thoughts on Lakeland Land Rover.
I have bought various cars from them over the years, new and used, utility and luxury. I have always bought over the phone including doing part exchange deals. I have never had anything but a genuinely great experience.
They are a family business who have been repairing and selling Land Rovers for many years.
They really care about their customers and the product they sell, their Dealer Principal is a very experienced off-roader.
Last year when my Puma Defender had EGR valve problems they took a valve off their demonstrator and overnighted it to the dealer that was repairing my car. More than LR could be bothered to do.....they just blather on about the supply chain and use their usual stock phrases.
Great service from a great company, it's worth the five hour drive to pick up a car from them!!!
And their location is pretty much unique too, there's not another building in sight from their showroom.2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE
So I'm not the only one who makes a five hour trip to get to Torver then. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Lakeland
I guess from the previous posts that I am truly blessed. My wife and I between us run a Disco 3,Defender TD5 county and a Defender TD5 pickup.I live just six miles from Torver and choose to run Landrovers purely based on Lakeland Landrover.I have run Landcruiser amazons,Mercedes G class and even Jeep
The vehicles fit the bill and my Disco is really on top of the job. Lakeland offer outstanding service backup and unbeatable knowledge of their product.
I have experience of other LR dealers and they do not come close.
I do wish they had a Merc franchise though If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!
