Hi all
Had D3 for 6 weeks, having problems with reversing sensors..!!
I put it in reverse and we get a constant tone as if something is behind you..(obviously nothing is )
Is this a common problem before I ring the dealer? Seems as if the recent rain has got into the electrics but surely a bit of rain should'nt cause this issue...
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks
Zak

If still under warranty I would have this checked out - there may be an ECU problem.

Check the connectors. Mine had loosened.

Mine did this after the dealer pressure washed the car, I just filled my lungs and gave each of them a short sharp blow, lots of water came out and all has been fine since.

Don't know if you have cleaned your vehicle lately but I had similar issues and it was the wax from the cleaning products that caused the problem.
May sound silly, but wash the sensors (externally) with soap and water and lightly scrub with an old tooth brush and see if the problem persists. I had mine valeted and the same problem occurred, luckily before I went to seek advice I realised that when valeted they had applied some form of plastic bumper dressing, this had put a wax coating across the sensors causing the same fault.
Don't know if it will help but worth a try.
Good luck

I had a similar problem. It was due to a very slight chaff on one of the connecting wires. Only really an issue when it got wet, but the dealer hosed the underneath & found it using a meter.

Hi all, thanks for advice and comments
D3 has been inspected by LR dealer and the results where a loose connection.
