Basically shocking service from all three, first two when trying to buy a vehilce the third once I'd bought one through an independent and had a warranty query:
Charles Hurst, Battersea – called ahead to check a vehicle was available to view, quoted registration, Receptionist double checked and confirmed it was. Arrive 2 hours later to find it had been sold the previous day. No apology by the salesman or offer to help us find another used vehicle. 110 mile round trip wasted.
Chipperfield, Kings Langley – viewed and test drove a used Discovery 3. Couldn’t reach a mutually acceptable deal and parted amicably but with no suggestion that I would follow up further. Salesman called the following day to gloat at having sold the vehicle!!
Lancaster, Reading – query over warranty replacement of creased/sunken front seat pads in Discovery 3. Gentleman on service desk would not even leave his seat to view the problem in the vehicle parked outside the showroom. No one has yet called me back to address the issue, despite a follow up phone call on my part.
My first 3 experiences of Land Rover dealers - the only way is up, eh??

I found Charles Hurst Park Royal (site sponsors), very helpful with a recent problem. But agree, generally this area is not well served with decent dealerships, hence my 230mile round trip to Yeovil every so often. Have experienced Chipperfields non interest (no return phone calls), Lancasters utter technical incompetence and poor paintwork 'specialists' , and as for any St**tstones, seriously, do not allow these clowns anywhere near your vehicle.
