Hey Martin,

Sunday Times Driving Section today - Tony Robinson and his V8 D3, looks like bonatti grey. Just maybe it was Baldrick! Would be good to get him on the site.

Tony came to my gaff for 3 days whilst filming a 'Time Team' episode last November - he had a disco3 with him then although that was green - the crew also had a freelander and a Defender 110 with expedition kit - I think all vehicles were provided by LR under some sort of sponsorship deal. He gave my son a signed photo, and he promptly said 'I don't even know you' - How embarrassing !!!!

Okay, the challenge,

Who can get Tony on the site? Or any other celebrity.

Does anyone know Andy Goode? I do, he kicks for England and the Tigers, I’ll see if his free D3 from Trinity is better that Austin Healey’s X5 or the rugby god himself, Martin Johnson’s D2 Landmark from Sturgess.

Martin your D3 V8 has started a challenge!

Went to school with Austin Healey- well he was much younger (and a pain in the ar$e according to my little brother who knew him much better)

- not that I'd say anything to his face, you understand!

As the article says he spends a lot of time driving between London and Bristol, if you want to come and sit on one of the M4 overbridges near here looking for him, I'll happily tootle up with sandwiches and coffee for you every so often...
