I'm going to summise...
two (or more) people and a length of rope marked off at 1m intervals
walking up and down the tractor tracks
to make a circle - one stands on the spot and the other walks around them holding the rope tight

The biggest surprise is that some one has bothered to study them enough to become an "expert". I don't remember my careers advisor ever talking about a course for studying crop circles or how many "A" levels where required to take it.
In the sixties they would have been called Hippies these days they are called "crop circle experts"
