I have them (fitted by PO).
Now that I have fitted an ARB bar, the headlight "protectors" are superfluous, but I haven't removed them. If you have headlight washers, I think that they would be a pain.

In my opinion:
The Front lamp guards look very cool.....I love mine, but they're plastic, thin and don't really offer any protection from things flying towards the front of the D3 such as stones, rocks etc
The Rear lamp guards I think look awful - I don't want them on my D3, but as far as protection goes, they're probably much more useful than the front ones....
It's much more difficult to judge a tree/rock/branch whilst reversing on a tight track/lane than it is going forward. Whilst there's almost no chance of the front guards saving your lamps, the rear ones may actually help if you're unlucky....
From this I mean to say that I took form over function and just fitted the front ones because they look rough, tough and off-roady....I feel a bit shallow now......should I be driving a RRS instead of a D3?
