Winger,
I was told again by another rover shop that rear camber can not be adjusted. I was also told there is a shim kit availalbe for the LR3. And if I request the dealership will install.
I have a call into anthor dealership (Revees in Tampa, FL). They are supposed to be the best rorver dealer in our area.
Is this just an North America Issue? I know you can adjust the front and thats true here also. Were you able to get your rear camber adjusted?

Yes.
The two wheels, front right and rear left, that were showing excessive inner edge wear both had negative camber that was at least 1 degree over the target setting.
Take a look at this:

It comes from the workshop manual.
I'd print it out, and then ask them why they are telling you that the rear camber cannot be adjusted......

Thanks I'll bring the print out next time I bring it in for service.
My currect Camber Setters are
Front Left : -0.7 Range -1.3 to 0.3
Front Right:-0.4 Range -1.3 to 0.3
Rear Left: -1.4 Range : -1.8 to -0.3
Rear Right: -1.0 Range : -1.8 to -0.3
I don't like the -1.4 and -1.0. I would be more comfortable with them closer to zero. I think the fronts are okay

Not sure I quite understand your range data.
I assume you are talking degrees/minutes. If so, the front and rear camber range is -0.3 to +.3 the target is -0.2 at the front and -.10 at the back.
(For the sake of clarity, the figure to the left of the decimal is degrees and to the right is minutes.)
So, your front right is just about okay; the front left is out a bit and the rears are both well off. In each case, excessive negative camber will result in inner edge/shoulder tyre wear.

I beleive it's in 1/10 of a degrees. - 1.8 degree = 1 degree 48 mintues
The range is the specified range (acceptable range from Land Rover) according to the Hunter alignment rack computer. Land Rover thinks it is okay if your rear camber is at -1.8 degrees

That is not the case. The acceptable rear camber range is +/- 30 minutes only (as it is also for the front).
The target for the rear is -10 minutes, -20 minutes for the rear.
By way of example, my rear left pre-adjustment was -1 degree 36 minutes; post adjustment it is now -15 minutes.

That great. Where did you get the alignment specs.
Obviously what the dealer has plugged into the alignment rack is not correct.

Land Rover Technical provided the alignment target and ranges.
