Went to the Dealers last Friday to get a lock fixed and came away with a Defender
Got more for my D3 than I paid 15k miles ago and 6 months + saved 5k on Defender list price as It was pre reg and had 3.5 k miles on as one of the salesmans car.
Hope I,ll still be able to participate in the Forum and events as I feel sure Ill have another D4 next year.Club Pie n Pea

nice one, good deal on the PX as well?
I like your thinking, as far as swmbo is concerned... you got good money for d3, in about 6 months time she'll be sick of the bouncy ride and you'll have a nice new d4.... perfect...one wife.......livid

You sly old dog! Never mentioned a Deafner at the weekend, must have been on your mind though? I thought you would have gone for the 110 with all the s#*t you like to cart round. Reminds me of the time I went into town to by the new Happy Mondays album and come home with a Clio 16v, thoughs were the days

AD15, who says SWMSBO doesn,t like a bouncy ride
Bit Selfish really the defenders for me the dogs and the fishing tackle, B R anyone else, got a good offer so took it and we'll see what happens next year. The defenders surprsingly comfortable, pulls like a steam Trainand the sixth gear makes for much better cruising. Done 500miles already. Don't get me wrong the D3 is the best car i ever owned and makes any one look good offroad and I never had any bother with mine, just need to sell the extras now

Mind you, all the best households have one of each I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Your right of course, I wanted to sell SWMBSO 's FL1 and buy a Defender and let her use the D3, but since TFC serviced/sorted the FL1 she likes it again, Club Pie n Pea
