Electric winch fitting

I am going to order the electric winch for my car and wondered what is involved fitting wise. The dealer is quoting silly prices so I want to have a go myself. I think some members have done their own so I would appreciate a little info, i.e. tools required, any cutting of bumper/trim etc. time taken, 1 or 2 man job etc etc.

Thanks in advance.
