Rear Brake Pads
I know its too late now, but when I fitted my New pads from Duckworths, they were a different shape to the ones I removed. The old ones had square'ish friction material, the new ones have a diamond shape friction material with a peel off label which was sticky underneath.
Now, MacLeod never reads instructions and assumed the sticky was for the inboard pad, and that LR have changed the design.
I have a couple of spare set in the garage and one edge seems to be at an angle the other is machined off, I am not sure what you on about,
Have you a picture of the ones that came off ?

Oh crap, I've just fitted the rear pads and forgot to check the direction as two of the pads had a sticky backing.
I fitted the sticky back pad to the outside of both discs, does anyone have a picture of the new pads to see if I have them the right way round??

Yours are on the outside, mine are on the inside. As far as I studied the friction material is Identical, no chamfered edges and no clue what the sticky area was for.
Does it matter

The included instructions did not mention anything about directional fitting by the way.
