Hands up who loves Mr Clarkson...
...a follow up post to last weeks (Feeling slightly ripped off)!
Mr Clarkson gave his judgement on Off Roaders this week:
In 1st place - £73,000 worth of Range Rover V8 Vogue SE
In 2nd place - the Discovery 3 TDV6
In 3rd and 4th, the Merc ML500 and Volvo XC90
and the Bad Car...
... the Porsche Cayenne! but only (in his words) because "we didn't have the heart to put the ghastly Range Rover Sport here instead"
The only reason the D3 didn't win was because "its excess weight blunts performance and results in horrendous fuel bills, keeping this otherwise wondrous machine off the top spot."
I'm a happy man (especially since my previous car was Clarkson's MPV Bad Car - the Citroen C8)Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
The Disco & RRS are too similar to put them 2nd & 3rd along with the fact that the fat boy was no1. Well done to the D3!Loving the power of the TDV8!

Very gracious of you VA, very gracious - I tend to agree with the comments over on rrsport.co.uk - he loved the RRS when being chased by a tank Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

If I was been chased by a tank, I would love anything that was faster!
