Farnell's taking over GS Leeds

Just got a text from Farnells they have taken over the former Guy Salmon Dealership in Leeds today!

Don't know if GS are in trouble but I highly rate Farnells 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Did I once read you get co-op points or something if you buy from farnells?


Is it the same staff or will or will they spread out to other GS branches

England 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3

Just been in to GS leeds early this morning to sort out getting 3rd service done, was met with a load of cars with the Farnells logo all over them, and an IT guy installing new computer system in there.

Must be bad seeing GS going, hopefully customer service and related work service won't be affected by this - have had good dealings with GS Leeds in the past. Looks like service desk staff are still the same (Tracy was there), but unsure on mechanics and engineering staff side of things.

Shame about Guy Salmon but Farnells are good and it's nearer for me than Guisley was. Divi points are welcome too - like CFB I got my £350 yesterday which will pay for my next service. Thumbs Up I don't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member...........

the reason guy salmon sold to farnells was that they were running at a loss.not making out.thats way it went.same people working there though. Whistle .
