Parking Brake Fault

So I am driving to work today, and my wife is calling me on the cell. So I inadvertently spill my coffee into the parking brake lever. The top to my coffee doesn't come off or anything, but there is definitely spillage into the parking brake lever area.

Next thing I know I am getting the amber parking brake fault with the flashing red one also. Did that all the way to work. I pulled up to the maintenance shop, popped off that plastic cover right behind it and blew it out with compressed air. No more parking brake fault.

Well, so far she handles the water on the outside way better than on the inside.

I don't remember where I read it, but… I did read an interview somewhere with a LR engineer and the litmus test for the center console was pouring a can of Coke on it.

Oh well.

The moral is that it is not safe to drive, whilst holding your coffee in one hand, with the phone propped in your ear, and taking notes from the wife whilst steering with your knees Razz

Whyh not? I do it every day. And at the same time my ham radio will call out, and the radio will have a traffic report.
