She's got a flippin cheek
Right, war is to be started when I get home.....
Had a call from SWMBO.......she drives the Disco mostly and I placed a Disco3 sticker in the rear window despite a few moans etc etc ...Eventually I put my foot down and said it was staying....that was a while ago and every now and again she brings up the fact that I have 'MY' sticker on 'HER' car when I have a car of my own.
Now two things, firstly, this conversation normally rears its head when she has female company, and secondly, my arguement is that the sticker would mean nothing and look bloody stupid stuck on the back of my Ford F150 Harley truck....
Anywho.....SWMBO has just started up her own business (www.horsesport.com) and had business cards and car stickers made.......the call was to tell em that whilst removing the Disco3 sticker, to replace it with her horsesport.com sticker, the rear window tint had ripped leaving a fairly large hole in the film....
Now, the tint is inside and the Disco sticker was on the outside so I reckon she put hers on the inside and tried to remove it on the quick....
as the Disco was tinted already when we got it, what sort of costs would just tinting the rear window be?????

Rear window tint on it's own should not be that dear. I got 'B' pillar back for £195. You might be looking at £50'ish

Here's the torn tint...and a few ripples in the film too

just to put the icing on the cake
you should tell her that you have discussed the situation with the forum members
and as an unfortunate side effect
Martin is now insisting on a site donation for all the marketing of
horsesomethingorother.com
carefull now- mods will be rolling in soon to check for commercial gain
BTW well presented site, horsesomethingorother.comNine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.

BB,
Yeah sorry about that...trie to minimise the advert but cant do too much as its all over the bloody car..
Why she deemed it worthy to also put a car sticker there too...Not as if you'd miss it....
Anyway, got a quote for £40 to redo the rear window. So it's being done next week hopefully and Ive left it to SWMBO to get it there and pay for it...
