Ipanema Sand

Has anyone seen Ipanema Sand paint on the D4, and if so what do you think? I suppose that it will work only with Ebony leather?

What about the Almond leather? It seems much lighter than Alpaca. Do you reckon it would still go well with Rimini Red?

Ipanema Sand??? Hey, I live there Laughing
Didn't know LR had this new colour for the D4!
Now that would be nice, driving an Ipanema Sand D4 in...Ipanema.

The colour is nice, just checked on the website. I miss the bikinis though... Whistle

Almond would match nicely I think.

Have lurked for a while but thought this was a good time to come out of the woodwork!

Took some photos the other weekend at the CLA Game Fair of Ipanema Sand Disco 4 and Nara Bronze RRS.

I have posted them in my gallery, hope they help! Very Happy

This is an interesting colour Smile I think I may change my mind from the standard Silver that I usually buy and get this.

Are these the standard wheel's ???? or the 20's ??

Great pics!!!

MMluller Whats to stop you wearing a bikini when driving, I,m sure its acceptable in Brazil Laughing Laughing

I was going to get this new sand when Atacama Sand was discontinued for MY09 but opted for the bronze when I saw pics of the bronze. Good to see the 2 together though.

Thanks, ossrider. I'm just back from a 2 week holiday, so it's good to see some photos of the new sand colour. It seems not so much sand as a variation on silver. I think I like it but it's still going to be a contest between that and Rimini Red. There was an early D2 in the hotel car park in Greece with lifted suspension and Safari snorkel, still looking good in Rimini Red (or whatever they called it back then). No sun fading at all.

The leather in your photos looks darker than the Almond shots I've seen in the official launch photos. I'll have to visit the dealer next week to make a decision.

The wheels are the HSE 19" twin-spoke alloys, I think.

Does LR offer a "badges off" option? I agree that the back door is too busy with all that text.
