bike carrier
Hello i will be having a fixed height adjustable towbar on my D4 when it arrives and would like a bike carrier that is
1 Easy to remove
2 I can still tow with the bikes in place
3 Still open rear doors with bikes in place
4 Carry two to three bikes
I know landrover do one as i have the range rover version in the garage collecting dust two things wrong with the land rover carrier one this the cost at round £300. and the bikes never seemed very well secured. So then you clever lot what is the alternative? I have noticed a few LR freelander bike carriers on ebay selling for well under £100. would they fit a D3/4 as they look the same or can i just buy the bracket bit that bolts to the towbar and fit the range rover one i have?

FFRR=full fat range rover
so you probably have the black tubular 2-bike one that you padlock to the bracket
a couple of straps stop bikes moving on it
I had a bracket made for the Range Rover/ discover fixed/adjustable height towbar so you could still towWot's that in Old Money
