I've sold Bluey after 17 trips for warranty work in two and a half years and then being told that I needed another new clutch and flywheel. It's out of warranty in a few months so I decided to change.
I asked the main dealer for a trade in price and was offered €24,900 
I'm also going to be doing more mileage as we have moved office so I decided to get something more sensible.
So today I've taken delivery of a slightly used BMW 730d 
I'll still be on here as SWMBO has her D3 still and this one of the best sites on the web.  1993 Defender 110 300tdi - many mods

730 is a 8) nice motor, well wear
trade in price bit of a shocker, best not to think about it too much.
I presume SWMBO wont have a problem with you taking her car in future for a day in the woods A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

Good luck with you 730d - just saying to wife yesterday wished I bought the silver one I was offered instead on my D3. Really really nice car. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE
