Hows the new motor going Lawrence? is the automatic acceleration lag as bad as you feared?

Unnecessary quote removed
Just starting to get used to it - still keep reaching for the gear stick every time I come to a roundabout to shift down ready to pull away smartish
The acceleration lag isn't too bad, but what I do notice is that pulling power is less with this than the previous D3 (must be something to do with the mapping that this one hasn't had).
Find the Sat Nav a lot more use than I thought I would, though its calculated travel time is a bit ambitious at times. It suggested I could do our home in Oldham to a holiday cottage in Blaenau Ffestiniog in 1 hour 25 minutes covering a distance of 121 miles.....
Like the electric leather seats, though the reset to fully back was annoying my Mum (she kept thinking I was going squash her legs as the front seat came back).

By reset do you mean the drivers seat moving back and the steering wheel moving up and forward when you take the key out?
If so, you can disable it by turning the adjuster knob on the left of the steering column to manual.

Hadn't noticed the steering wheel moving, but yes I do mean the seat moving back (I supposed to allow more room for the driver to swing his/her legs out).
I'll play hunt the control tomorrow and see if I can stop it doing it - thanks. Coffeecup
