as the title says, im havin issues with my air suspension. Its rite down after iv been repairing my disco. the whole system was depressurised as i had to replace a strut. now when i start up the disco the compressor runs for a couple of seconds and then switches off and then i get suspension fault come up on the display. ive had a diagnostics machine attached and the fault is saying "compressor open or short to earth"
so i've checked all my wiring which is fine.
i also tryed to run the compressor from a seperate battery and it runs, but after about 20seconds it releases all the pressure? all i can think of is that the compressor is knackerd? but thats gona be a pricey fix.
any help would be much appreciated

How can it be an overheat issue when it only runs for a few seconds In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

The problem is the system has had the pressure released and will need diagnostics plugged in to operate the compressor seperately
I think the compressor is cutting out as it has noticed the system has lost its pressure and shuts down maybe incase it has a problem
PM wiggs he may be in your area and able to look at your D3 with his Faultmate

When you fit the winch kit the air pipes have to be re located, you have to disconnect the pipes to do this. So all the air is let out the system. On re fit and start up my cars compressors have run until the system fully re inflates this happens without any errors. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
