Advice please on mounting Tomtom 920 in the cupholders

Although I already have the LR sat nav I like to refer back to my Tomtom on long unfamilar journeys. I'm looking at putting one on top of of the cupholders in front of the gear selector and have found the below link

http://www.arkon.com/manuals/TTGO123.pdf

Just wondering if anyone had already tried this and what the feedback might be, I wasn't sure if the fit would be good...or indeed if there were a better way of doing it. I dont want anything permanent and I want to keep the uncluttered dash....

Thoughts please...

I did this with my old Nokia phone. I didnt bother with this mount, just used the sucker type, took the flexible bit of sucker of, leaving the hard back part of the sucker base, drill three holes around the edge. Then, removed the drivers side cup holder (it just pulls out), put the the sucker base part down into the cup holder and three self tappers later, one phone holder mounted where I could see it. Advantage is, when you remove it and put the cup holder back, theres no screw holes to see.

hope that helps
