John,
Finally got round to using the cleaner, clay bar, DODO surface prep and Wax. Should have come with a health warning though once I started I couldn't stop, have been washing, cutting, waxing and buffing all day. Must say it was worth it though shining like a new pin or maybe even a new D4. Pah! who needs one. 
And still have the leather stuff to use on the seats tomorrow.
