I measured the max height of a D3 with an expo rack in access mode at 2.07m
To my mind that makes 2.1m too low and 2.2m absolute minimum you should attempt Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
I know bars on entry are not that accurate, but for reference I have done a 2.1m car park and scuffed the top fot he rack on an overhead pipe in the car park, so didn't go back, but regularly take it into 2.2m car parks and not (yet) had a problem - dod we have an emoticon for 'fingers crossed'
always locked in access height though......Craig

I also measured 2.07 m in acces height. I didn't have problems with 2,10 m parking garages.Roel

I read that as 6 points and £970 for wiping out the neons.
How fast were you going when you got caught earlier in the year.

93 on the A303, already had 6 points so didnt answer any correspondence from the filth, as i had a feeling i may get another 6 and a ban.
They didnt get me to court within 6 months so the offence was dropped, however they did me for non disclosure of driver hence the points and fine.
Luckily my other points came off in september "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

Good timing on the other points coming off or it could have been a ban. Did they keep contacting you for driver details or do they give up after one attempt and then just summons you.

Am I ok carrying on with different G4 questions here??
Anyway, just looked at an '08 G4 on the web (just google James French). All looks very nice, just breaking open the piggy bank to see if I can afford it but any ideas why it has the old centre console thingy? The top of the radio houseing/centre doo-dah has the rounded corners at the top. Not that I am bothered but I was going to get dealer to swap my piano black centre console and vents for the boring grey/silver ones but they won't fit I guess??
Anyone know what else changed at this time? Wonder how old they really are?
