Hi All
Had the D3 up in the air yesterday, as suspension felt rough and not as smooth as it used to be as been slight nocking and banging over bumps feels very Hard
Any way I noticed play in Passenger side track rod end , ive recenty paid for 4 wheel allighnment should this not have been noticed then..
Does anyone know if the track rod ends are included under LR extended Warrenty , and should i be asking them to check for anything else while they've got it ... ie Wishbone buses , ARB buses, suspension arms..
Had mine changed at the end of normal warranty.

Track rod outer joints are normally considered wear items and as such outside of warranty claims, dependent upon the defect & mileage, inner ball joints are not however.....

If the freeplay was present when the 4 wheel alignment was carried out then when the freeplay is removed the alignment will have to be redone.
And yes it should have been picked up when the alignment was carried out.

Had my ARB bushes replaced in April under warranty, mind you they had to get it inspected beforehand , and thats from the heads up from TFC on a service
Its not what they do, its how you put the problem to them. TFC armed me with the info, told me EXACTLY what to say, and hey presto, DONE
