Never used the Nottingham branch, but I certainly wouldn't touch the Wolverhampton one, IMHO they overcharge or break more than they fix,
They are that bad, than rather go the 1 mile to them from where I work, I go 60 miles to Shuckers in Ludlow.

I travel to Duckworths in Market Rasen. It's only 50 miles from you? Flawless service and recommended by a few on here. Tell them we sent you It'll save those Stratstones return visits when it doesn't get fixed first time
They now have a Boston branch (maybe that's nearer) - never been, but I expect it will be just as good 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Had a TD5 a few years back , went to stratstones notts for a service and it came back with a 12" screwdriver under the bonnet , when i rang them to tell what i had found they were not intrested at all so never been back since , chocolate firegaurd springs to mind.

Took my wifes freel2 back there after a grommit was missing and had let water in... they wanted to charge me to investigate the problem when it was 2 weeks old! They were very unhelpful. As soon as i took it to the dealer in leicester, they fixed the problem straight away and were very apologetic! I would try to avoid Stratstone personally.

They're only 2 miles from my office so I use them a lot.
If you've got another dealer closer to home then don't drive past it to get to Stratstones for service.
Features include:
1. Every time I take the car in for something it's one visit for diagnosis, then another visit to fix the problem. Don't they ever stock parts?
2. They did £100 4 wheel allignment and left the steering so far out of wack (20 degrees plus) that the suspension dropped on the motorway because the car though it should be going in circles (honest)
3. The car was handed back one with a big new scratch in the door (that they fixed)
4. Their service pricing is a rip-off unless you haggle
5. You have to insure their loaner cars (which means you have to prat about phoning your insurer on the day whcih takes ages)
6. They don't go the extra inch. let alone the extra mile. Though they are pleasant enough people
7. There's probably more.. but it's too depressing
I'm considering getting a Mercedes as I'm seriously ****ed off with crappy service from my local LR dealer
I hope the dealer principle reads this posting
cheers
