grind/groan sound when wheels fully turned?
Just the other day, I heard a loud grinding/groaning sound when I turned my wheels fully to the left while reversing. It was loud and quick - I actually thought I had run over something. But I couldn't get it to do it again until the next day.
I've only been able to reproduce it 3 times over the past 4 days. Seems to only happen when i'm reversing and wheels turned fully to the left. Any ideas? I'm still under warranty so I guess I should make a service call.2013 LR4 HSE lux | Santorini Black | 5.0 V8

I'm no expert but it could be the the bump stops need greasing. Just a bit should do it, you can easily see them at full lock, albeit from the otherside.
I think that's what they are called, they stop the wheels at their max turn.

Hi there
I had something similar - I think it was to do with the suspension or steering bushes - I can't remember the exact details but the dealership repaired it under warranty - I am sure your dealership will repair it for you free of charge.

A little dab of grease on your nipples?
(There are a pair of cast bump stops on the lower front wishbones - they make a grinding noise on full lock unless greased every now and again)2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux

If you're cheap and like greasy fingers, then dab some copper grease on the nipple and in the reciprocal indent (bellybutton?!?).
If you like to keep clean then you can get copper grease in a spray can at a serious markup

you were all correct.
stopped by the dealer today and that's exactly what the problem was. As crews control so delicately put it: they put a little dab of grease on my nipples and voila...all better. 2013 LR4 HSE lux | Santorini Black | 5.0 V8
