Just wanted to know if the D3 removable and electrics will fit the D4? Seen a few kicking about on flea bay..... what sort of price should I be looking to pay for a 2nd hand one (or a new one for that matter).
Additionally, what electrics kit do you need? I presume it's pretty simple to fit yeah? Just plug in the pin plug? If in doot, flat oot!!

tow bar will fit but electrics are different
nobody yet had a set to see if configoration is required as the D3 you can get away with but word on the street is that it needs to be activated by a workshop computer, whether ids or equivalent i don't know

Just to follow on for this. Any update on if it needs to have an ecu update when electrics fitted???
Also the kit from Nick although a good price is still alot of money when you can get a 13 pin socket for 30 quid. Although this will need hard wireing which should be fairly straight forward. Does anyone have any advice or comments on the best way to proceed.??!??! 350miles and cant wait to do more.

£30 plus loads of hassle and potential issues with interaction with the vehicles electronic systems = buy OEM I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

If there is no absolute need for any T4 activation - not confirmed either way yet - then it is pretty straightforward to fit. Just a couple of plugs. Don't even think about a hardwired budget alternative......
