Hi,
i removed all my tailgate letters easily by slicing through each letter with fishing line, this removes the letter and most foam sticky backing!
Then i used Autoglym Intense Tar Remover to get rid of whats left as residue
Really easy and it suprised me as to how easy it all was

Didn't have fishing stuff at home so did them with 2 of my bonus cards. Washed car first and then prised them off very slowly.
Was careful to put another bonus card on opposite side to that that was lifting so that the letter didn't dig into the paint.... Worked a treat! Very easy! Out with the autoglym afterwards and can't tell they were ever there!

P.s dental floss was suggested and WD40 to remove residue It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

If you don't polish the paint you will still see the outline of the old letters to refit the new ones. CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

A set bought from the resident dealer on these forums doesn't come with a template.
Euan,
Glad they arrived safe
I saw a post from a guy who had put up the dims as to where to stick it, it's what I used to fix the second set of decals I had.
I'll see if I can dig it out.
