Gear box fault light

well it had to happen. Got my first warning light this afternoon, gear box fault.

Dealer says they have had a few issues with this already, apparantly a software issue that needs a new disc still? Did seem like a trigger happy fault to me as the minute you turned the car off and on again it went away Question

well, i have had wonderful week in a new freelander 2 Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

my car she is faulty. What started out as a gearbox fault has now gone to faulty throttle peddle and a car that just drops to 0 revs whilst driving below 30 mph whenever it feels like it.

Needless to say there is no fix yet Big Cry So, i have had my car in the dealership more than I have had it at home which is really Censored annoying!!

I suppose one positive is that the door rubbing strips and the privacy glass is on Smile

I will keep you all posted with the updates

a whopping 42 miles, so really disappointed to tell you the honest truth. I just want to get my own wheels back. I have not even had a chance to get out onto the open road yet!

Anyway, lets hope they get something sorted this week or I am going to stick my foot up someone's Censored to give them the hurry up!

eventually heard some news today Very Happy the fault that was supposedly causing the issue was down to a faulty throttle peddle and malfunctioning brake module Whistle will have to wait and see if that sorts it out. part was on order so hopefully arrives tomorrow so i can get my friggin car back!

Past experience seems to show that Disco3's either gave very few problems or were "lemons" Shocked - might be as well to think about it quickly, and look carefully at the requirements for rejecting motor vehicles (trading standards may help with advice) Crying or Very sad
