Has anyone had an engine failure on a 2008 disco3,15,000 miles, landrover dealer refuses to repair under warranty,as they say there is water in fuel. This car has been in dealers compound for 12 months. Now after twelve months,a product recall P008,P017,pops through my letterbox. But they still will not repair or replace my motor.Any other horror stories.

This could be related kind of...my car had been resting at a dealers for a few months before I bought it. On the way home the engine kept cutting out and I had to be recovered. Car passed all diagnostics and test runs and has been fine since. TFC suggested at the time condensation in the fuel tank could have been the problem and since my episode a few others have had similiar experiences when collecting vehicles from dealers.
Could the water in your fuel be this condensation issue maybe?
Now driving BMW 330d Touring....misses D3...but not when at traffic lights Smile
