Park Brake Noise
Right, Ever Since I took the 4WD with some mates up to Levuka the 4WD on occasions (Disco 3 V8 HSE) has been making a unbearable screaming noise when trying to apply the park brake....
Whats the go with it?
It's going in for a service this week anyway... Just thought I'd get some online opinions...

Welcome to the not so wonderful world of the D3 EPB screamer
Dealer will try and charge you to fix it I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

If the above reading is not enough, try a site search for +EPB and sit back for a few hours reading through everything that will come up, packet of biscuits and a large drink reccomended I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Had the same issue for a couple of weeks, although it was intermittent. Then one day, just refused to disengage. So I dug out the manual and manually disengaged.
Took it to the dealer last week. System had logged the failure as handbrake out of adjustment, the dealer adjusted and tested. All done under warranty.
The dealer said that they now check adjustment at every service (this dealer is a different branch of the one I normally use for servicing).Si yo no tengo idea tampoco

Nice to see that they have now started to follow the standard LR service procedure I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

If it has got full of mud or bulldust it will need a clean as well as an adjustment.
Adjustment only fixed mine.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
